Rules Files do not use %inputTokens, %outputTokens or %sessionVals any more. They are deprecated for %IN, %OUT and %SESSION. The writeTo() function is deprecated for SEND(). Logging in rules files use the new LOG ($level, $text) command.
Modules do not use the configure, go or quit commands, they now use #::configure, #::go and #::quit.
Input Modules are now configured like output modules, i.e., they expect a #::configure command to be sent to them to setup the sessions.
Since LooperNG now multiplexes data from multiple input sources, there should be some way for the rules file to know which module the alert came from. Use $IN{__module} to determine where the alert came from.
LooperNG takes extra commandline options. Type looperng -h for more information.
There is a new administrative interface that can be reached over socket. It can be accessed by telneting to the looper host at the port specified by --port. To disable this feature set --port to 0. Details in README.
